AUTISM SWIM IS…
Water-safety through instruction, practice and play
Basic skills practice to promote swimming readiness and safety
self-paced acquisition and development of functional skills
The individualized, self-paced format of autism swim focuses on learning or reinforcing functional / basic swimming through:
water adjustment, pre-swimming skills and basic swim skills and safety practice. Advanced swim skills are introduced as your child moves forward.
Water Safety and Swimming Skills

We offer tailored lessons that are customised to each individual’s requirements, the objective being to help them build self-confidence, become physically active, improve self-esteem and learn the life-saving skill of swimming.

We use visual aids and repetitive routines to provide a positive experience and emphasise strengths and unique attributes of each swimmer. We believe every person is unique and therefore each swimming lesson is delivered in accordance with the swimmers preferences and abilities in mind.
